March 2010
Dear Valued Client,
Course Schedule
As is our normal practice we have attached
our latest Course schedule through to October
2010.
It is important to note that subsequent to
printing the schedule there are sometimes
changes made to dates and additional dates
scheduled, so to ensure you are planning your
training requirements to correct dates we
would recommend that you check our
website, www.nationaladvanced.co.nz, to
see if any changes or additional dates have
been updated prior to booking.
The Year Ahead
We trust that you have all had a well earned
break sometime over the Holiday period and
are ready to begin the new decade with a
renewed zest.
Our courses held already this year have been
well attended with most being fully
subscribed, so please, if you are
contemplating training any number of your
drivers this year, get in early to avoid missing
out on the date you require.
Also, please remember that if you have any
significant number of drivers to train or want a
date that we do not have scheduled, please
talk to us, we commonly run additional dates
at our venues, some as specific client days
should you have sufficient numbers.
We are also happy to look at different venues
that you may consider appropriate and be
more convenient for you and your drivers. We
do have a fairly strict criteria for any new
venue, mainly centered around safety issues,
but are willing to discuss these and inspect for
their suitability should you consider them to be
suitable.
Road Safety Strategy Review:
Our last couple of issues of Learning Curves,
we have referred to the Governments Road
Safety Review and Strategy to be set.
Submissions on the discussion document
closed in October and whilst the overall
strategy has not been released at the time of
preparing this edition of Learning Curves,
there have been numerous releases made by
the Government over the holiday period about
possible changes that maybe considered,
particularly relating to possible changes of the
driving age to obtain a full drivers licence.
We hope that a release of the Government’s
full Strategy and a guide to their proposed
introduction of any changes to current laws
and rules pertaining to Road Safety will be
made soon, as some of these changes will be
wide reaching and effect many employers,
especially relating to the employment of
younger drivers and their restrictions, if any.
Lets try to make this the safest decade on our
roads, so begin by contacting us to make
arrangements to make you and your staff
safer on the roads.
To make a booking either:
Book via the National Advanced Online Booking form, or email us on
nationaladvanced@xtra.co.nz; or Telephone
us on 09 486 4775 or your Representative; or

Kind regards,
John and Sandy Brown,
