about us
Objectives
The National Advanced Drivers School was formed to promote and encourage safe driving habits and attitudes. The fundamental aim of the school is to teach drivers how to react correctly when confronted with potentially dangerous situations.
History
The school was founded in 1987, since then the school has rapidly gained a reputation for the effectiveness of its programmes, having trained several thousand drivers and currently training over 2,500 drivers per year.
Programmes
The emphasis in our courses has been gained from premier driver training programmes currently running in Britain, the USA and Australia, with further related industry technical input.
Our programmes include:
- Car Control Courses
Our basic practical one day course teaching accident avoidance, car control and defensive driving skills. By learning skills, the drivers become aware of their abilities and shortcomings and realise the need to drive defensively.
- Special Purpose Courses
These courses are developed to achieve specific objectives. They include the Police Drivers Course, V.I.P. Drivers, Teenage Drivers, "Ride and Drive" Days (ie: product demonstration), and Conference Activity Days.
- Risk Management Advice
By looking at fleet management systems and history, as well as driving and accident records, appropriate remedial advice can be given.
- Remedial Training
Training for individuals requiring some remedial work on specific areas is offered on a case by case basis.
Personnel
The team instructors have been selected not only for their driving skills but also for their instructing and coaching abilities and have backgrounds in many different areas of driving.
